even worse nurse shortage. We are importing doctors and nurses from
all over the world. We have no right to further knock down the poor
developing countries by stealing their doctors and nurses. Our shortage of doctors and nurses
will get even worse as the Boomers become elderly and require more
medical care.
We should be the world's leading
producer of doctors and nurses. Doctors, nurses and medical
professionals should be America's greatest
export!
This is not a typo. America needs two
hundred new medical and nursing schools, each with a new teaching
hospital and biomedical research center.
America absolutely must be the leader
of the world in biomedical personnel and technology.
