HEAL THE PLANET

The Kyoto Treaty for global conservation is totally unacceptable because it excludes the world's largest polluters, Communist China, India and the developing countries from conservation. Also, the idiotic, totally ridiculous concept of selling carbon swaps and licenses to pollute is not acceptable to any thinking person. Our fragile little planet can have, should have, and absolutely must have a totally inclusive conservation program that applies absolutely the same to every inch of the world.

Every nation must cooperate in research programs to develop new, more green technology for every aspect of our existence. This can and should create a new worldwide economic boom, because intelligent green technology has a cheaper total lifecycle cost to own because of the energy savings.

We must use every form of influence to recruit Communist China to change from being the worst polluter and poisoner of the environment that the world has ever seen, to being a leader in conservation and new green technology. China and America must work out a methodology to share the limited resources of the world, instead of a heartless competition to acquire exclusive control of those resources to the detriment of the other nation, which may result in mutual suicide of our peoples.

The world must not only develop new, green sources of energy, we must develop new sources of food. Hopefully, we can do better than the green goop of "Soylent Green." Beef is a highly polluting food. Some studies rate the beef industry as more polluting than cars.

The oceans are being exhausted. Many studies show that the populations of large fish are down 90% since 1960. Shrimp boats that used to fill up in one day now sail for weeks for a partial load.

Brazil is slaughtering the rain forests to grow soybeans for Communist China at such an uncontrolled pace that the level of the Amazon River has dropped by ten feet!

Such a reduction of the river's nutrients that feed the ocean's fishes, and reduction of the greenery to produce oxygen for the atmosphere, will surely have worldwide consequences. And this deforestation is still in the early stages. Each year more rain forest is killed than the year before. Everyone on the planet will pay a horrible price for Communist China's soybeans.
